MedicusRx’s Nguyen to Speak at Workers' Comp Seminar in Mesquite, Texas

 

The Law Office of Ricky D. Green, PLLC, will be hosting a workers’ compensation seminar on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Mesquite I.S.D.’s K. David Belt Professional Development Center in Mesquite, Texas. The theme of the seminar is “Let’s Play Family Feud.”

 

The seminar is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will provide attendees with 6 hours of continuing education hours, to include 1 hour of ethics. 

 

Trang Nguyen, M.D., PhD, President of MedicusRx , will be a featured speaker at the seminar and will discuss The Application of Causation Analysis in Workers' Compensation and Liability Claims.

 

The conference will also feature presentations on the following topics: Nuts & Bolts of Workers’ Compensation, Designated Doctor Procedural Tips & Traps, and Ethics of Case Management.

 

The seminar will include an Employer workers’ compensation question and answer panel.

MedicusRx’s Nguyen to Speak at Texas Workers’ Comp Conference

 

The Texas Department of Insurance’s Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) will be hosting their annual workers’ compensation conference June 27 – 29 in Austin, Texas. The theme of the conference is “shaping the future together.”

 

The conference will feature presentations on issues ranging from the simplification and streamlining of the designated doctor process to successful return-to-work strategies. Among the presentation topics is “Big Data Predictive Analytics for Healthcare” which will be presented by the President of MedicusRx, Trang Nguyen, M.D., PhD.

Doctor Nguyen’s presentation will focus on how big data analytics of a workers compensation population can help providers and claims administrators make data driven decisions to improve costs and treatment outcomes.

​

“Big data analytics can be leveraged to predict risks of poor surgical outcomes or medication complications and thereby advise providers to use additional screenings for preventive management,” said Doctor Nguyen. “Big data analytics in healthcare can improve the quality of medical care and patient experience while making organizations more economically streamlined.”
